LACTAMIL®
Natural lactase enzyme

Description

Lactamil® infant drops  is a source of lactase enzyme. The drops are used for children from birth to 12 months of age, both during breastfeeding and in combination with lactose-containing milk formulas for infants.

The active ingredient in Lactamil® is the enzyme lactase, which occurs naturally in the body.

Lactose is the main energy and structural component of breast milk or any other lactose-containing milk mixture for infants. Lactose is the main carbohydrate in an infant's diet. In order for milk to be absorbed by the child's body, it is broken down by a special enzyme called lactase. The amount of lactase in the intestines of infants may be insufficient to break down breast milk or milk mixtures. Lactamil® is an additional source of the lactase enzyme.

Ingredients: lactase, carrier glycerol

72 drops contain 16,200 ALU or 3.6 ml.

Usage: Lactamil® drops should be used at every feed from birth to 12 months of age, in accordance with the dosage table (inside the box). Do not give more than 72 drops in a 24-hour period.
